"Wind Horse Canyon" oil painting by Karen Chatham features the late stallion Stomper from the Sand Wash Basin Wild Horse herds. Sand blows in the wind as stomper rounds up his mares to search for protection.

Southwestern Artist, Karen Kennedy Chatham, is a realistic and abstract painter of wild mustang horses, Texas longhorn cattle, western cowboys, Native American culture, landscapes and radiant florals. Her mediums include oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel. Born a native Texan, Karen lives in Paradise, Tx has a deep love for western culture and her favorite subjects are the horses.
