"White Buffalo Ghost" contemporary oil painting by Texas Artist Karen Kennedy Chatham was inspired from my own original photography and my love of Native Americans who lace my own ancestry with their beautiful colors.
Southwestern Artist, Karen Kennedy Chatham, is a realistic and abstract painter of wild mustang horses, Texas longhorn cattle, western cowboys, Native American culture, landscapes and radiant florals. Her mediums include oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel. Born a native Texan, Karen lives in Paradise, Tx has a deep love for western culture and her favorite subjects are the horses. Karen has recently been exploring new abstract/semi abstract techniques that are radiant in color, rich in Spirit, and full of positive emotion. *Student of James R. Spurlock for 10 + years * 2nd place win at the Texas Visual Artist’s Association Open Call Show in 2018 *1st place win for Best of Show and People’s Choice Art Show at the Paradise...
