These are the wild horses of Salt Wells, Wyoming. They are the most beautiful wild horses in the world in my opinion. This stallion is Jack of Hearts and he is a sight to see. He is very protective of his band and gave me a stern warning to keep away from his girls.
Southwestern Artist, Karen Kennedy Chatham, is a realistic and abstract painter of wild mustang horses, Texas longhorn cattle, western cowboys, Native American culture, landscapes and radiant florals. Her mediums include oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel. Born a native Texan, Karen lives in Paradise, Tx has a deep love for western culture and her favorite subjects are the horses.
